Terry and Rowena Bradley
Senior Pastors
Terry & Rowena are our Senior Pastors. They arrived in the late 80’s and Terry became senior Ps in early 2001. Terry carries a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership, and more recently, completed training as a Level 5 Christian Life Coach, through Dream Releaser Coaching USA. The founder and director of that company, Dr Sam Chand, has appointed Terry and Rowena as Directors of the New Zealand arm of Dream Releaser Coaching Company, ´Dream Releaser Coaching NZ Limited´
Terry is now in his fourth term serving on the New Zealand Assembly of God Executive Presbytery, and currently serves as the Assistant General Superintendent. Both Terry and Rowena have a vibrant family, which includes 7 beautiful grandchildren. They are passionate about the local community. Terry loves to champion hope, so is always keen for a coffee and a chat, but if he’s not doing missions, coaching or church stuff, try the local golf course in Piopio. Rowena, however, who lives to help others, will most likely be building, gardening, renovating, for somebody, or visiting or catching up with her delightfully busy grandchildren. She has an amazing level of energy and this is also reflected in her vibrant faith.

Liz Brandon
Assistant Pastor,

Te Kuiti Life Group Leaders
Liz has been a member of the church since the late 90’s with 7 of those years in a leadership role. As Assistant Pastor Liz oversees the Children’s Ministry, and is a life group leader. She is passionate about seeing people find a real authentic faith…Liz also works part time in the Health Sector and loves being able to connect with people in our community.

John and Emma Hunt, with

Worship Directors
John & Emma oversee our Music/worship team. Their commitment to excellence has brought together a multi-faceted team with great heart. John and Emma are both teachers and musicians. They moved to the area 6 years ago. John has enjoyed dog trialling and Emma is Head of Dept for Music and Performing Arts at our local high school.

Simone Brandon
Young Adults Pastor
Simone has been a part of the team at Journey Church for over 10 years and has been specifically involved with the youth and young adults ministry. She loves to see young people find connection with God and become knitted into the church family. Simone has grown up in Te Kuiti, loves being a local and most importantly she is passionate about food and coffee!
Michael and Waikauri Hirini
Youth Leaders
Michael and Waikauri Hirini lead Journey Youth every Friday night. These two enjoy collaborating with the Youth and having a fun filled night with activities, laughter and encouragement. Their aim is to create an environment for young people to build positive relationships and be empowered as individuals in their day to day life and most importantly in their journey with God. They are both almost at the finish line with their studies, Michael being in his final year as an electrical apprentice and Waikauri also finishing her last year of a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
Margo and Brian Watson
Te Kuiti Life Group Leaders
Brian & Margo are life-group leaders and have lived in Te Kuiti for the last 11 years. They’ve been involved in various departments of church life wherever they have lived, and they love to find areas to contribute. Brian’s cheeky sense of humour livens up any event and they are great hosts. Both have been involved at international level with coaching and umpiring bowls and continue to play for the local club.

Jean Hunt
Accounts Manager
Jean is our Accounts Manager; she has a great eye for detail and systems and manages this area with excellence. Jean has been married to Roy for 48 years; they both have a passion for church being family and central to their daily life. They moved to the area to be closer to family and thoroughly enjoy looking after their granddaughter whenever needed.
